Known for his award-winning reporting and compassionate storytelling, Boyd is taking this opportunity to further his professional development.

In addition to his regular news coverage for KARE 11, Boyd has been the producer and host of the weekly "Land of 10,000 Stories" segment. His storytelling prowess has earned him recognition as the National Storytelling Coach for the 49th state. Through this role, he shares his expertise and inspires others to connect through the power of storytelling.

Boyd's personal journey has been marked by both challenges and triumphs. In 2013, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, a diagnosis that tested his faith and resilience. Despite the setbacks, Boyd's unwavering determination and positive attitude shone through, inspiring countless others.

Boyd Huppert was born on January 22, 1962, and began his journalism career as a reporter for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He joined KARE 11 in 1990, where he has established himself as a trusted news anchor and storyteller.
